Mocha Oatmeal

It’s collddddd outside, and I didn’t want to go to Starbucks for something sweet and warming. So, let’s make it ourselves! These are RICH, so be ready for them. You’ll be on a chocolate high all day!

Mocha Oatmeal

Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup steel cut oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 cup strong coffee
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Add oats, coconut milk, strong coffee, cocoa powder, 2 tbsp maple syrup and vanilla to saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir frequently, and cook until liquid is fully absorbed.
  2. Serve oatmeal. Drizzle maple syrup on top and enjoy!
