
It’s chilly outside, and nothing warms the belly like a hearty soup! Sundried tomatoes give this classic a little extra depth!
Split Pea Soup
Serves 6
Ingredients
- 2 cups dried split peas
- 6 cups vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp liquid smoke
- 2 heaping tablespoons sundried tomatoes, packed in oil
- 1 large carrot, chopped
- 1 medium zucchini, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- sea salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to slowcooker, stir well to combine.
- Cook on low for 8 hours.
- Serve. Enjoy! Freezes very well, if you want to save some for later!
