Split Pea Soup

It’s chilly outside, and nothing warms the belly like a hearty soup! Sundried tomatoes give this classic a little extra depth!

Split Pea Soup

Serves 6


  • 2 cups dried split peas
  • 6 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke
  • 2 heaping tablespoons sundried tomatoes, packed in oil
  • 1 large carrot, chopped
  • 1 medium zucchini, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • sea salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste


  1. Add all ingredients to slowcooker, stir well to combine.
  2. Cook on low for 8 hours.
  3. Serve. Enjoy! Freezes very well, if you want to save some for later!
